TOOsta Brava (Costa Brava), without a doubt. is one of the most picturesque places in Spain. The Costa Brava is the northern coast of Catalonia, stretching from the French border to the city of Blanes. Translated from Spanish, Costa Brava means “wild coast” or “coast of the brave”. Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists come here to enjoy their holidays on the incredibly beautiful beaches.
From a geographical point of view, Spain is one of the most interesting countries in Europe. Each region is beautiful and unique in its own way. One of the most beautiful corners of the country is truly the Costa Brava. Here, mighty steep mountains stretch for 80 miles along the coast, and the coastline, windingly indented with small coves, due to its unattractiveness for the establishment of ports, has preserved magnificent landscapes untouched. Particularly fascinating are the picturesque sandy beaches, which are reliably protected from the winds by mighty giant rocks, the slopes of which are covered with pine and olive groves.
It should be noted that the Costa Brava is a rather cool Mediterranean coast, however, the climate is quite mild, and the holiday season lasts from June to October. The average monthly air temperature during this period of time is 25-28 degrees, and the sea water is 21-23 degrees.
