The game of golf has always occupied a borderline position between a sporting competition and an enjoyable pastime. The high status of the players is supported by external surroundings and strict adherence to the “code of honor”. Each participant becomes the bearer and keeper of the set of rules of golf etiquette, occupying an elite position in the world of sports.
Almost anyone can learn to play this game; it does not require great physical strength. Golf can be played from the age of five until the last days of life. This is one of the few sports that the whole family can play. Therefore, especially for you, we have prepared a golf tour to the magnificent city of Lloret de Mar, which is located on the picturesque Costa Brava in Spain.
A golf tour is remarkable precisely because it gives you the opportunity to combine learning this elite game and traveling to new, unprecedented places, beach holidays, sightseeing and attending various interesting events.
The tour is intended:
- For those who would like to get acquainted with the culture of golf and the rules of golf etiquette.
- For those who have been on the field once or even twice and tried to hit the ball with a club. Perhaps you even succeeded and want to go further. Or it didn’t work out, but you dream that it will work out.
GOLF TOUR PROGRAM
1 DAY
Arrival at the airport, transfer to the Costa Brava and hotel accommodation.
Then you will have free time, during which you can get to know the city of Lloret de Mar or organize any events you wish.
DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
Next, you will find golf training under the guidance of a personal trainer (3 holes) at the Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt golf club.
After lunch, you will travel to Barcelona, where you will take a four-hour sightseeing tour exploring the Eixample district and the incredible architectural masterpieces of Antoni Gaudi, the majestic Sagrada Familia, as well as Mount Montjuic with panoramic views of the city.
Return to Lloret de Mar.
DAY 3
Breakfast at the hotel.
Next, you will find golf training under the guidance of a personal trainer (9 holes) at the Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt golf club.
After lunch, there will be a shopping tour at La Roca Outlet Village, a shopping center with more than 100 stores, where the best brands such as Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Versace and many others are sold all year round. On the way to La Roca Outlet Village, you will visit wine cellars, where you can taste and purchase wonderful Spanish wines, vermouth and jamon.
DAY 4
Breakfast at the hotel.
Then there will be an excursion to Carcassonne - one of the most beautiful medieval fortified cities in the south of France. This city is a fortress. Around it there is a double row of fortress walls, about 3 km long, above which 52 towers rise. On its territory are the count's castle of Comtal and the Basilica of St. Nazarius and Celsius. Since 1997, the fortress has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
During the excursion you will see that within the walls of this fortress history seems to come to life, and you are transported to the era of noble knights and beautiful ladies. On the way back there will be a visit to an oyster farm in Port Leucate, where you will taste freshly caught bivalve oysters, washed down with a glass of white wine.
Return to Lloret de Mar.
DAY 5

Next, you will find golf training under the guidance of a personal trainer (9 holes) at the Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt golf club.
After lunch, you will travel by boat or transfer to the picturesque resort town of Tossa de Mar, which is considered one of the most attractive on the Costa Brava.
There you will have the opportunity:
- stroll through the majestic Vila Vella fortress, built in the 12th century, visit the city museum and the lighthouse museum
- enjoy the picturesque landscapes from numerous observation platforms located throughout the fortress
- take a walk along the embankment
- stroll through the interesting streets of the old town and visit the city’s cathedral.
After the walk, return to Lloret de Mar by ship or transfer.
DAY 6
Breakfast at the hotel.
Next, you will take part in the final golf competition at the Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt golf club (9 holes), where you will have the opportunity to fully apply all the golf skills and abilities that you have acquired in the previous days.
At the end of the competition there will be an awards ceremony. Then there will be a celebratory lunch to celebrate the end of the tour in one of the wonderful restaurants in Lloret de Mar.

7 DAY

Transfer to Barcelona airport. End of the tour.
GOLF LLORET PITCH & PUTT
Golf instruction, training and competition will take place at Golf Lloret Pitch & Putt, which has been in operation for fourteen years and enjoys international recognition for having hosted two European National Championships. Its 18-hole, rugged course is one of the most challenging, challenging and sporting golf courses in Catalonia. The numerous shady areas provided by the tree plantings make it ideal for competition during the summer months. The tee's uphill or downhill courses, as well as the accuracy required to negotiate tree-lined areas or the difficulty of water areas as a natural handicap, make it ideal for practicing the game over short distances.
This course is suitable for players of all ages and all skill levels; each hole has two outs, although proximity to the flag does not guarantee ease of achieving the player's desired par. The Lloret Papalús Pitch & Putt course has a clubhouse with reception and small bar with terrace, a large driving range and putting green.
Dress code for golf:
Comfortable sportswear - polo shirts, T-shirts/pants, shorts or skirts - all classic sportswear and not made of denim, shoes (sneakers or sports shoes), sun caps, sunglasses.
