Stage Entertainment, producer of such productions as “The Lion King”, “Mamma Mia!”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Bodyguard” and “Les Miserables”, brings to Europe the musical that has conquered Broadway.
Madrid became the first European city to premiere this musical at the Coliseum Theatre.
The Broadway play, which has been showing in New York since April 2017, has already received 25 nominations for various awards, including the prestigious Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk.
Based on the 1997 animated film directed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, the impressive production tells the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, daughter of the Emperor of Russia, who escaped execution with her family after the Bolshevik Revolution.
